A welcoming, quiet and supportive gaming hangout for people on the autism spectrum to get together, play video games and socialise
ABOUT US
Opened in 2020, The Gaming Den was created by Arthur and his son Isaac after seeing the need for a welcoming space for people within the autistic spectrum who have struggles getting out of the house.
The Gaming Den was inspired by Arthur's Co-owner and son who experiences the daily struggles associated with autism. Isaac loves to play computer games and had the idea to share his passions with others. Together they came up with The Gaming Den, a safe and welcoming environment to not only have fun but also to build social skills.
"The Gaming Den gave me a safe environment to engage with other people in a way that I was never able to before"
Steven, 25yrs
"The Gaming Den is an amazing place! Everyone is so nice and you can really get in your zone. It's a really enjoyable place… 5 STARS!"
Sam, 13yrs
"My son first started coming to The Gaming Den about 3 years ago. It has been exciting to see how my son has grown and changed over this time, and I can confidently say that his enthusiasm to come to The Gaming Den, and the friends he has made there, have had a really positive influence on his life. He is more confident, trying new things and not stuck at home refusing to go out. I can’t thank the team here enough for all they have done."
